Intranet Solutions is proud to celebrate 20 years of helping organisations communicate, collaborate and work more effectively. Since our founding in Melbourne in 2003, our focus has been straightforward: understand how each organisation works, then build an intranet that supports its people rather than forcing them into a generic system.

Two decades of change in the digital workplace

The workplace has changed significantly since 2003. Early intranets were often treated as static repositories for company news, policies and documents. Today, organisations expect a digital workplace that brings together communication, knowledge, processes and everyday tasks in one accessible environment.

Our solutions have evolved with those needs. Modern intranets can support targeted internal communications, document and policy management, online forms, automated workflows, staff directories, mobile access and secure knowledge sharing. More recently, artificial intelligence has created new opportunities to consolidate organisational knowledge and help employees find reliable answers faster.

Throughout that evolution, one principle has remained constant: technology must be useful to the people who rely on it. A successful intranet is not measured by the length of its feature list. It is measured by whether employees can find what they need, complete routine work with less friction and stay connected to the organisation.
